Submitted information by users

EggBeat collects information when you create an account (personal information). The information collected includes, but not limited to:

• User name - a name for user identification, which is specified by the user; the user name cannot be changed
• First name
• Last name
• Electronic mail address
• Password
• Birthday
• Gender
• URLs of external websites that the user is affiliated or owns

EggBeat collects information when you upload and share your music. The information collected in this case includes, but not limited to:

• The contents of the songs
• The lyrics of the songs
• Attributes of the songs including tempo, style of music
• Keywords that users input to categorize the songs

EggBeat also provides discussion boards and the ability to send messages among users. The information EggBeat stores and retains associating with this includes, but not limited to:

• Communications in the form of text on discussion boards
• Communications in the form of text in areas where comments can be left
• Communications in the form of text that are contained in messages sent to other users of EggBeat

Certain features such as the ability for users to invite other people to EggBeat and the ability to notify other people about songs you uploaded require the user to submit information about other people. We collect the following information:

• Electronic mail address

EggBeat may also conduct surveys to its users in order to improve its services. The information collected by these surveys includes, but not limited to:

• User experience of the website
• User demographics
• User preferences

Non-submitted information by users

EggBeat also collected information that is not submitted by the users (non-submitted information). Non-submitted information is collected for the purpose of improving EggBeat's services. Non-submitted information EggBeat collects include, but not limited to:

• Computer and network environment of the user including IP address, type of browser and type of operating system; this information is collected to personalize and optimize EggBeat's services for the user.
• User activity including time of access, accessed areas and sections of EggBeat's Services, type of data transferred using EggBeat's services; this information is collected to understand how users are using EggBeat's Services, and thereby utilizing it to improve EggBeat's Services.

How EggBeat uses the collected information

• EggBeat will not sell or rent any information it collects from users to other parties or individuals.
• EggBeat may disclose the collected information to its suppliers, affiliates, and business partners.
• EggBeat reserves the right to disclose collected information in the case it is necessary to protect EggBeat's rights, and/or comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process.
• EggBeat reserves the right to contact you through email to notify you any important notifications regarding EggBeat's services.
• When users send invitations to other people to join EggBeat, and/or send notifications to other people regarding an uploaded song, users will need to provide the email address of people they wish to invite or notify. These email address will be used for the purpose of sending the invitation or notification and for identification.
• EggBeat will not combine non-submitted information with personal information. This means that EggBeat does not specifically associate non-submitted data, which includes, but not limited to user activity and computer and network environment to a specific individual.

Privacy Settings and Controls

• You may change your personal information at anytime.
• EggBeat sends newsletters to update you about new contents and features in EggBeat's services. You have the option to not have these newsletters sent to you.
• You may terminate your account at EggBeat at any time. However, all songs uploaded will not be removed and the Terms of Use will continue to apply for those songs.
• EggBeat requires a password from the User to protect your privacy and security. However, it is the sole responsibility of the user to maintain the confidentiality of the password. EggBeat is not liable for any loss or damage arising from any unauthorized use of your account.

Data Security

In order to maintain the security of the collected information, EggBeat utilizes commercially reasonable physical and technical safeguards. In addition, EggBeat also implements managerial safeguards so that the collected information is only accessible to EggBeat's staff. However, EggBeat does not warrant that the collected information will not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or deleted due to a security breach against any of our safeguards. In the event and case of a security breach of any of our safeguards, EggBeat may send a notice via electronic mail or post a notice on its website.

EggBeat does not warrant the security of any information while they are transmitted to EggBeat's servers. Users transmit information at their own risk.
